About Us

Kehillah El Elyon is Hebrew for Congregation of G-d Most High. (Ps. 47:2)

We are an Independent, Torah observant, “Messianic” Congregation of Jews and B’nei Noach (Righteous Gentiles). (Deut 27:10)

We strive to love G-d with all of our heart, soul, and resources (Deut 6:5).

The Torah and NaKh (Hebrew Scriptures), the Word of G-d to mankind, are the standards, and final authority by which all other writings and ‘teachings’ are held to. We search for truth in the Tanakh, B’rit Hadashah, Talmud, Midrash, Zohar, and other ancient Jewish writings. (Pr 23:23)

We do not seek or teach conversion of any type. Many “Messianic” Groups use this title to try and convert Jews; we have no part of this practice and do not support this in any way.

We support Israel, the land promised by HaShem to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and their descendants. We support Israel as a Jewish State, with Jerusalem as her capital and the Jewish people, the chosen of HaShem and the Light to the Nations.

We hold to the thirteen principles of Jewish Faith by Rambam:

1) We believe with perfect faith that G-d is the Creator and Ruler of all things. He alone has made, does make, and will make things.

2) We believe with perfect faith that G-d is One. There is no unity that is in any way like His. He alone is our G-d; He was, He is, and He will be.

3) We believe with perfect faith that G-d does not have a body. Physical concepts do not apply to Him. There is nothing whatsoever that resembles Him at all.

4) We believe with perfect faith that G-d is first and last.

5) We believe with perfect faith that it is only proper to pray to G-d. One may not pray to anyone or anything else.

6) We believe with perfect faith that all the words of the prophets are true.

7) We believe with perfect faith that the prophecy of Moses is absolutely true. He is the chief of all prophets, both before and after him.

8) We believe with perfect faith that the entire Torah that we now have is that which was given to Moses.

9) We believe with perfect faith that this Torah will not be changed, and that there will never be another given by G-d.

10) We believe with perfect faith that G-d knows all of man’s deeds and thoughts. It is thus written (Psalm 33:15), “He has molded every heart together, He understands what each one does.”

11) We believe with perfect faith that G-d rewards those who keep His commandments, and punishes those who transgress Him.

12) We believe with perfect faith in the coming Messiah (Yahoshuah)*. How long it takes, We will await His coming every day.

13) We believe with perfect faith that the dead will be brought back to life when G-d wills it to happen.

*Of course Yahoshuah is not in Rambam’s original 13 principles. We have added this because we believe that Yahoshuah is the Moshiach ben Yosef , and will return as Moshiach ben David.
